                     Public drunkenness: decriminalisation

  Mr McINTOSH (Kew) -- My question  is to  the Minister for Police and Emergency
Services.  I  refer the  minister  to the  Attorney-General's  submission to the
Victorian alcohol action plan in 2007 advocating the decriminalisation of public
drunkenness,  and  I   ask:  is  it   the  minister's  policy  to   support  the
Attorney-General's position?
