Mr BOURMAN (Eastern Victoria) (11:34): I do not think I was even living in Victoria at the time, being in the air force, but when I did come to Victoria in the 1980s I learned very quickly about what happened in 1970—the loss of 35 men and the injury of 18 others. I think it is highly appropriate that we have taken the time out of our day to mark this occasion. To echo what Ms Lovell just said before, I hope we never have to deal with something like this again.
