Ms SULEYMAN (St Albans) (14:20:01): Congratulations to North Sunshine Eagles Football Club for hosting the Albanian Cup. Despite the weather and the car park turning into a pool of mud, over 4000 people attended, including Brimbank councillors, who were able to witness the fantastic showcase of sportsmanship and talent, with teams competing from across Victoria. Of course yesterday the fantastic Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events announced the Local Sports Infrastructure Fund, which I am hoping will give Brimbank sporting clubs access to $22 million for female-friendly facilities and other improvements. This is a real opportunity for Brimbank council to apply on behalf of local sporting clubs in Brimbank.
