Mr McGUIRE (Broadmeadows) — (12 468) My constituency question is to the Attorney-General. The Broadmeadows Community Legal Service has dealt with about 2000 victims and survivors of family violence annually. It has recently amalgamated with the Moreland Community Legal Centre, forming the Northern Community Legal Centre. I thank the Attorney-General for launching this important local collaboration. My question is: what funding from the Victorian government will be made available to the Northern Community Legal Centre, given that commonwealth funding for Victorian community legal centres will be cut by almost 30 per cent from 2017–18 and beyond, unfortunately leaving the Northern Community Legal Centre seeking new sources of funding?
